#6

Right now BP is being blamed for most, if not all, of the blame for what happened in the Gulf. i believe it should be more leaned on the United States government for different reasons. I understand that it is partly BP's fault because they did in fact shortcut their way around things to keep payments low but that is only the beginning of the problem. The government was missing. When a hurricane hits the coast and takes houses and jobs and even lives with it, it is the government's job to step in and help out. When an tsunami hits a country halfway around the world the American Government can find a way to get thousands if not millions of dollars in food and water over there within a week. But when there is an explosion in the Gulf of Mexico they found a way to say it is BP's job to clean it up. In order to attempt to clean it up they need what exactly; money, time, and physical help. What did our government tell BP as "relief"? If you clean this up we will let you continue to drill on American soil. Almost all of the states boardering the Gulf will be affected due to job loss, enviromental disgust, and frustrations. The government doesnt know what to do so they do nothing thus endangering all of the previous.

Porn on a Plain

Planes should be aloud to let their passengers have internet. The rules would be simple. Ban porn and other viral videos from being played on the plane. If someone was to watch it while on the plane and their is a complaint or the person is caught he or she would simply get a warning and not to do it again. If that same person is found doing it again then they are to have their internet taken away from them and or be subjected to a fine. Other solutions of keeping the internet and trying to limit what people watch with it is futile. Some people thought of keeping certain seats specifically for porn. Well what if no one wants those tickets because they don't wish to watch such things. No one will want the embarrassment of having the seats that people watch porn in. Thus those seats wont be sold and the airline will lose money. And of course the airline wants to keep the internet because with all of the fighting and merging going on between the companies they will want the better price and accessories that come with it. In the end there is not much control over the whole thing so i felt that the best solution is just restriction. Limit certain things that people can watch.

Money

It is tough being a 19 year old college student. I have to wake up early for morning classes, work 20 to 30 hours a week, maintain at least a 3.0, and have a social life. Even though school was mentioned twice in that last sentence the hardest one would be the job. I know my biggest problem is keeping money in my wallet. Rent would be the biggest hole in my pocket. I live in an apartment where I do not have to pay seperate for electricity or water or any of that stuff. Also gas seems to be a big antagonist because I go everywhere all the time. Whether it is getting to school or just going to friends house the closest thing is at least ten minutes away. Plus because of where I am in life it would be nice to take a girl out every once and a while. Dinner is anywhere between 15 to 30 dollars depending on the place. Also a movie or ticket to a show would be around 10 bucks each so at the end of the night we are looking at a total of around 50 dollars. Now that obviously can't be a daily thing or else I would easily be broke. My main goal is to find a way to keep all of my daily plans along with keeping money in my pocket.
